This verse is Mark 6:3
“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.”
Chances are, Jesus had brothers and sisters. Maybe he was born of a virgin, but unlike some denominations claim, Mary didn’t stay that way. Matthew 12:46-47 gives further evidence of this claim by saying:
While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
Jesus also seems to forget that his family exist, and calls one of his disciples his mother!
He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:48-50)

The Bible verse of the day series will now be ‘temporarily discontinued’ for a few months due to a lack of new content and changes in the posting schedule. But when it starts up again there will be plenty of new verses to talk about.
