The Bible is not just a book about supernatural sky fairies and magical places. Apparently witchcraft and sorcery work too. As we see from Kings 2:23-24.
“Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.”
First, murdering people who insult you isn’t a moral thing to do, neither is asking your God to murder them. Secondly, I wonder why cursing people doesn’t work nowadays, apparently a lot went on in the Bible, God was always there, poking his head down from the clouds and ordering people to do stuff – and then murdering them if they didn’t, but nowadays we hear nothing from him. Maybe he got bored watching his creations and decided to take a very, very long holiday – one that’s lasted about 2000 years and counting.
